AKA NYC is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Paid Search Specialist to join our growing PPC team. As Paid Search Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing paid search campaigns to drive targeted traffic and achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of search engine marketing (SEM), excellent data analytical skills, and the ability to stay updated on industry trends. Reporting to the Head of Paid Media, the Paid Search Specialist is a full-time exempt role that is based in New York City. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc).
  • Conduct keyword research to identify new opportunities and optimize existing keyword portfolios
  • Develop and implement bidding strategies to achieve performance goals
  • Conduct A/B testing of ad variations to improve click-through rates and conversation rates
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement
  • Monitor and administer web analytic dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and highlight key areas of importance in accordance with client goals
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels
  • Generate weekly and monthly client reporting for all major metrics, goal tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives
  • Manage and allocate budgets effectively to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives
  • Forecast and track budget expenditures, ensuring campaigns stay within allocated financial limits
  • Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments
  • Communicate with team and manage on project development, timelines, and results
  • Work closely with colleagues to meet and deliver client goals 

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the digital media industry managing paid social and distribution
  • Experience in managing Google Grants is a must
  • AdWords / Bing certification required
  • Experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
  • Outstanding ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills

  • A competitive salary between $65,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience
